Martin TB40L100 KF-1 Style, 3/8" Pitch, Light, 1" Wide Belts, 2012 Taper Bushing Timing Pulley TBThis Martin KF-1 type timing pulley is suitable for use with a same-pitch profile trapezoidal tooth belt in power transmission applications that require synchronous rotation. This pulley mounts to a drive shaft using a same-type taper bore (TB) bushing (sold separately). Steel pulleys resist wear and ASTM A48 class 30 gray cast iron pulleys resist wear, corrosion, and galling. Double flanges on the pulley resist side thrust and maintain belt contact. Timing pulleys are a type of drive pulley and are used in a wide range of mechanical and electronic drives, including automotive and printing industries. Pulley drive systems consist of two or more pulleys that connect with a belt to transmit mechanical power across greater distances than systems that use gears. Pulleys (sheaves) are available in different types: V-belt, timing, round, or flat.
