The Cleveland 2065TN parabolic flute design, jobber length high-speed steel (HSS) drill bit has a 38-degree helix angle, with a 118-degree notched-point drill point and Titanium nitride (TiN) surface treatment, which is designed for high-performance drilling applications. It can drill up to 14 times the diameter of the drill deep. The shank diameter is the same as the drill size.

The 2065TN series performs best when drilling into low-carbon steel, soft alloy steel, non-ferrous materials, aluminum, copper alloys, and free-machining stainless steel. TiN is a ceramic coating that combines hardness and low friction to extend cutting tool life and permits faster cutting speeds than with uncoated tools. Good for use on items made of alloy steel, carbon steel, plastic, and aluminum. Spiral flutes act as a passageway for chip extraction from the hole and for coolant to enter the hole. The twist of the flutes brings chips up and away from the cutting edge. The parabolic design allows for smooth and efficient chip, also called swarf evacuation.
